How to integrate a Shopify store to MindBehind

In the Company Management page, select Integrations section to see Shopify integration. Click on "ADD" here.


The form that directly pops up shows the required information to connect to your Shopify store.


URL represents your regular URL directed to the relevant store.

To get the Access Token, you should go to your Shopify account and choose Apps and sales channels.

Here, click on Manage private apps navigate to "develop apps for your store"



Create a new app



You need to give a name to your new app, you can use anything, an then click to “Create app”




Small tip: To come to this step, Shopify might ask you to give permission to create a new app.
You need to provide an emergency developer email to continue.

To make sure that your Shopify integration works properly, make sure that your Admin API settings give access like in the following table.

Select the Webhook API version as 2023-04.
After giving these permissions, click on save. Then, you'll see a pop-up again.
To confirm, click on create app here.


This move will directly lead you to the page where you see Api Key and password. Copy these and paste them to the form in Mindbehind.

Now, after completing these steps, you will see the Shopify integration in the Integrations section. You can go to the e-commerce module in your assistant, select this integration, and use it directly.

You are all set.

 

HOW TO PUBLISH YOUR ASSISTANT WITH SHOPIFY?

Please go to your Shopify page. At the bottom of the home menu, you will see the “Online Store” widget. Click it, afterward select “Themes”.


You will see your current theme. Please click the “Customize” button.


“Theme actions” is located very end of the “Home Page” menu bar, please select it.

Click on “Edit code”.


Now, select “theme.liquid” which is located under the “Layout” heading.


Please scroll down and go to the very end of your "theme.liquid code". You can paste your script between </ul> and </body>.


After you save it, you will be able to see your chatbot.
