What are the On Premise Installation Requirements for Enterprise Businesses?

These are the minimum requirements.

Technical Requirements for App Cluster:

  • Cluster that contains at least (physically separated) 5 VMs each one with 4vCPU and 16GB RAM and 100GB HDD disk and 150 GB SSD for databases (or equivalent)
  • Kubernetes version 1.6 installed on the cluster (better to have)

Technical Requirements for Log Cluster:

  • Logging cluster that contains at least 2VMs each one with 4vCPU and 16GB RAM and 400GB diskspace
  • Casandra, Elastic Search, Zipkin in the cluster

Human Resource Requirements:

  • Kubernetes / Istio / Grafana / Zipkin system administrator (If K8 and Istio used)
  • MySQL database administrator
  • MongoDB database administrator
  • Casandra database administrator
Based on the use these requirements may be increased.
